The Board of Directors of Wilson & Muir Bank & Trust Co. announced three promotions at the Shareholder’s Meeting on February 8, 2023. Darin L. Logsdon and Jeffrey T. Blair were promoted to Senior Vice President, and Gayle Mattingly was named Business Banking Specialist.

President and CEO, Frank B. Wilson commented,

“Darin, Jeff, and Gayle have made valuable contributions to our organization since they joined the WMB family. These promotions are intended to acknowledge their contributions and the crucial role they have played in the past and will continue to play in the future. Gayle supervises all electronic banking transactions for our commercial clients each day. The growth in this area has been phenomenal over the years. Gayle has earned the confidence and trust of some of our most valued clients, sending and receiving financial transactions worldwide. Darin and Jeff are both lifelong residents of Hardin County and over the course of their careers have developed strong bonds with their friends and neighbors, which have been the key factors to the success of WMB for many years. All three share one common characteristic, they are sincerely dedicated to the well-being of those they work with and serve, the main element in forming lasting relationships”.

Darin Logsdon joined WMB in November of 1995. After graduating from North Hardin High School in 1990, he went on to McKendree College, graduating in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. After graduation, Darin continued working at the bank and in 1998 he was promoted to Branch Manager and Loan Officer. Darin attributes his success to building relationships and staying active in the community. He currently serves on the Knox Regional Development Alliance Board and the Vine Grove Planning and Zoning Committee. He served as the President of the Vine Grove Chamber of Commerce in 2004 and 2008. He has devoted many hours to coaching various youth sports over the past 15 years, is a huge UK fan and if you have ever been to his office, you know he loves Corvettes. Darin and his wife Cheryl have 3 boys, Coleman 21, Cayden 18, and Cash 7.

Jeff Blair joined WMB in September of 2000. He is a lifelong resident of Hardin County and a 1995 graduate of Central Hardin High School. He went on to the University of Kentucky to obtain a bachelor’s degree in both Business Management and Marketing in 1999. Jeff joined WMB as a Loan Officer and in 2012 was named Branch Manager. Over the years, Jeff has been involved with numerous civic organizations. He served as the Chair of the Hardin County Jr. Achievement Board and is currently treasurer of the Elizabethtown Football Club and is a member of the Central Kentucky Community Foundation Development Committee. He is a member of First Christian Church in Elizabethtown, a die-hard UK fan, and an avid golfer. Jeff and his wife, Dawn, have been blessed with three children, Nick, Braden, and Peyton.

Gayle joined WMB in December 2006. She worked as a teller and CSR before transitioning to the Wire Department. Gayle is a lifelong resident of Bardstown and a graduate of Nelson County High School. She and her husband, Andy have one son, Jacob.
