Wilson & Muir Welcomes Andy Bishop and Zach Spencer
May 11, 2021
Wilson & Muir Bank & Trust is pleased to announce that Andy Bishop and Zach Spencer have joined the bank as Loan Officers. President and CEO, Frank B. Wilson shared “We are very excited to have Andy and Zach join the WMB team. They bring very interesting and unique lending experiences to the WMB culture. Zach has been involved in virtually all facets of commercial lending in his banking career, most of which has been in the metro Louisville market and adjoining counties to the northeast of Jefferson County. Andy has spent most of his 13 year banking career in agricultural lending focused primarily in Central Kentucky but has broad experience working with small family farm operations and large corporate farm operations throughout the Midwest.”
A graduate of Western Kentucky University with a Masters of Science degree in Agriculture, Andy’s experience ranges from teaching Agriculture at Westmoreland High School in Tennessee, where he was named Teacher of the Year, to developing various business strategies for local farmers and managing a loan portfolio in Agricultural Finance. He will be located at the bank’s Main Office in Bardstown.
Zach graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing and has over 16 years of experience in Commercial Banking throughout Louisville and Northern Kentucky. He will serve the bank as Vice President at the St. Matthews Office in Louisville.
“Both of these gentlemen come to WMB with a very strong work ethic and a dedication to provide exceptional customer service”, said Wilson. “They are enthusiastic, experienced, and personable. They will be a solid extension of our team and our commitment to our clients and their lending needs. I’m thrilled to have them aboard.”
