Our Lobbies Open May 26!May 19, 2020 We are happy to announce that our lobbies will be open beginning May 26. This date coincides with the relaxation of most business restrictions. We are committed to showing solidarity with our retail and other small business clients and support their re-opening. It is even more important that we take the necessary steps to provide a safe and secure environment for you and our staff under the current conditions. Our lobby protocol procedures are based on the guidance from the CDC, the Federal Government and the Kentucky Governor’s Healthy at Work guidelines. For the safety of our clients and staff we will wear cloth masks while providing banking services and in the open areas of the lobbies. For these same reasons, we are respectfully requesting that you also wear a mask if your health permits. Disposable cloth masks will be available if needed. Sanitizing stations will also be conveniently located in our lobbies. You will also notice some physical changes in our lobbies to promote safe social distancing practices including signage and germ shields. We will continue our practice of routine and constant cleaning of all surfaces and high touch areas. Our Loan Officers and Customer Service Representatives will continue to work primarily by appointment, so as to coordinate lobby traffic and to maximize social distancing guidance. We also encourage you to utilize all of the available Wilson & Muir Bank resources for self-service banking and 24/7 account access through our Mobile Banking, Online and Telebank Line. Being designated as an essential business we have been operating at full capacity throughout this health and economic crisis. I am extremely proud of the dedicated efforts of all the Wilson & Muir staff, who have been working very hard to make sure your financial needs are being met. It has been an extremely busy time with new challenges arising almost daily. In particular, our lending team has put in countless hours learning the Paycheck Protection Program and counseling hundreds of small business clients on how to obtain much needed emergency funding. While there are still a multitude of challenges ahead we need to work together to restore our economy. This next phase toward that end is a very critical step in a long process. This is our responsibility as an essential business. It is also our responsibility to conduct our business in as safe a manner as possible. We appreciate your patience, understanding and cooperation. Your friends and neighbors in the business community need your support like never before. So please shop local and shop frequently. We look forward to seeing you soon, from a distance of course.
